Um…no.
Nope. Non. Nee. Net.
We know it in about 48 other languages, too, just in case.
Read more about that here.
There are a couple of different ways to do this.
- Some of our products (t-shirts, Polar Camel, Mugs, blankets, etc) will have you buy a blank and you can submit your design need and/or image in that purchase portal. The same thing goes with customization.
- You can always message us directly by utilizing the ‘Contact’ tab on this site.
- You can email us directly at admin@ittakesavillagedesign.com.
- You can message us on any of our social media accounts (although, this is the slowest route).
- We love helping you make an impression! Thanks for trusting us with that.
Keep in mind that 100% of the cost will be due up front before a project is started in the design process or substrates ordered. No refunds will be issued for custom work and special orders.
We feel your pain! The supply chain has been crazy for a year, and we agree it’s getting ridiculous. However, we promise to keep in contact with you and let you know there is an issue as soon as we do. Respond to our email and we will let you know your options. We can refund you**, bump you up and work on your order as soon as it arrives at our location (if they don’t cancel it), help you find something else for you that might work, or exchange your order for credit or another item.
We really will do all we can to find a solution that works best for you. There are ways around unexpected changes, and we offer choices when things go not according to plan. We love choices!
**Keep in mind that no refunds will be given for custom work or special ordered items (one of something, special color), but store credit can be issued.
Thanks for the trust…no pressure, right?
We do custom engraving, however, realize that things can go wrong. Lasers misfire. Depths can’t be practiced. Settings can’t be changed. Your item may slip without a custom jig. Plus, a list of 50 other things.
We love personalizing something that means something to you, or something you’ve found cheaper than we can get it somewhere. We really do. There are just risks involved.
We do charge a higher premium for things that are brought in than things we obtain ourselves, just for that reason.
You will be asked to sign a waiver releasing us from liability, and we will refund your money if that happens, but only the money you’ve paid us for engraving/sublimating/pressing/etc.
We can’t be responsible for your item.
You can increase the chances of a successful outcome by ordering an extra for us to practice on, or bringing in a scrap piece of whatever we’re working on. We run off of the settings we’ve used for similar substrates, but that doesn’t always work.
Please know the gravity of what you’re asking when bringing in your personal item.
Well, probably not.
But, Wal-Mart can!
Last minute rush jobs, or large quantity items in a short lead time tend to end in costly mistakes. Usually we eat the cost of those mistakes.
If we assume a job under these circumstances, know that there will be a rush job fee, as well as a cost passed on to you for any damages due to time constraint.
We try really hard to get things finished quickly (especially if you let us know the circumstances), but there are too many factors outside of our control for us to guarantee it.
We won’t quote you the old saying, “Lack of planning and preparation on your part, doesn’t constitute an emergency on mine,” (oh, wait, we just did), but help a maker out! We ask for a minimum of 48 hours for most jobs, but they can take up to 2 weeks (or longer for supply chain issues).
Do us a favor and order that wedding gift early. Your niece will thank you for it!
